There is an end to every night
Even while stumbling in a pitch black lane,
Just 'round the corner, you'll find your light.
Wandering, helpless, for the morning bright,
Hear- In spite of the blinding pain,
There is an end to every night.
Struggling, in this mighty fight
Don't despair! It's not in vain,
Just ' round the corner you'll find your light.
All around are lies, oh so white
Dear, don't rest till the evil is slain,
There is an end to every night.
Then you'll start smiling, to your delight
All will be calm and peaceful again
Cause there is an end to every night,
And just 'round the corner, you'll find your light.
Even while stumbling in a pitch black lane,
Just 'round the corner, you'll find your light.
Wandering, helpless, for the morning bright,
Hear- In spite of the blinding pain,
There is an end to every night.
Struggling, in this mighty fight
Don't despair! It's not in vain,
Just ' round the corner you'll find your light.
All around are lies, oh so white
Dear, don't rest till the evil is slain,
There is an end to every night.
Then you'll start smiling, to your delight
All will be calm and peaceful again
Cause there is an end to every night,
And just 'round the corner, you'll find your light.
I really like how the poem flows and ends at a good and hopeful note, that struggle will bring something worthy in life.
ReplyDeleteI feel that making the phrase 'you'll find a light' to 'you'll find your light' makes it sound much more convincing and makes the poem more hopeful.
Thank you! You're right it makes it much more better. I'll surely do that edit.
