I was plunged,
Into a pool of melted chocolate,
It's warmth,
Comforting each part of my body.
I saw the hot summer days,
Spent by the pool,
The cold winter nights,
With sweaters of wool.
I saw the twinkle of a million stars.
I felt the happiness,
Of holding her close.
I was hopeful, glad to be alive,
Celebrating life.
I could look at this,
Forever.
And then, she blinked.
